A few weeks ago I wrote an article<\/a> about the fog and the Grand Canyon.<\/p>\n

Well\u2026 the fog lifted for a spell.<\/p>\n

And now it\u2019s back. With a vengeance.<\/p>\n

Fuck.<\/p>\n

After a good meeting with someone from work, I won\u2019t mention names or go into details, the fog started to lift.<\/p>\n

I felt lighter. My brain felt like it was rebooting in a proper way for the first time in months.<\/p>\n

For the first time in a long while, things didn\u2019t feel stuck.<\/p>\n

I actually started doing a bit of programming again in the evening. It gave me energy!<\/p>\n

\n

Would this be the end of my bad spell?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well?<\/p>\n

Nope.<\/p>\n

One Thursday evening, we got a phone call about a medical emergency.<\/p>\n

Everything turned out okay in the end, but that call\u2026<\/p>\n

It hit hard.<\/p>\n

My system took a hit and dropped back into that familiar degraded mode, and the brain fog returned.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s next?<\/p>\n

That call to my GP I\u2019ve been postponing for the past couple of weeks?<\/p>\n

Yeah.<\/p>\n

I think so.<\/p>\n

Or to put it into my Brain Factory metaphor:<\/p>\n
