New tires and a scary moment

Our lanhok gets an upgrade. The tires were already 10 years old and needed to be replaced. And yes these tires had to be replaced a few years ago.

Getting the lanhok to Profile  was not easy. The electric system of the caravan didn’t work and caused havoc in my car. While testing the indicatorlights a small managementbox in the car went haywire and started making weird honking sounds.  And the most irritating of it all. None of the lights worked on the caravan.

The lights worked on and off during the short trip to Profile. After a lot of contactspray the lights started to work properly. Simple conclusion is that the connector on the caravan and on my car are dirty and a bit corroded. The mental note is to put a small can of contactspray in the caravan next to the WD40. The caravan now has three brand new tires so we are set for the next 6 years. Total costs: 263 euro’s and a few cents.

I also went to my cardealer to check the connector on my car if it was working properly and that no fuses blew in the process.

Everything works as it should now and we are set to go to Campzone!
