01-08-2016 update!

And yes! The campzone crew started to get the CZ terrain ready! That also means that our lancave is now standing in front of my house and that finally things can be updated and changed!

Our lancave still on the caravanyard where it is stored when not used.

After getting the caravan and the annual checkup of the tires and the tirepressure I went on a shopping spree. I got a whole bunch of new stuff for the caravan.

Door update

These parts are responsible for keeping the door open and “locked”. The problem was that these parts were worn and the door could not be kept in the open position.

That is an easy and cheap fix!

I used new screws and a special glue for bonding them permanently to the shell.

Tent holders

Last year one of the tent holders nearly broke, I noticed it just in time and prevented a complete collapse of the front tent. One thing on the todo list was to replace these plastic parts with metal ones.

This is an old, plastic one, note the baby screws used to bond it to the caravan. Two out of the five parts had these baby screws. It can be called a small miracle that this went so well for so long.

The new screw is also on the picture.

And a replacement metal part with new screws and glued with a special glue. These parts will outlive the caravan.

Smoke detector!

Another improvement!

We sleep in the caravan as well, so this is actually mandatory!

Sealant, sealant and more sealant!

IMAG0832

Not very well visible on the picture. You can make out the cable and junctionbox to the rear lights. This cable pops up out of the floor and then continues to the juctionbox.

The laminate was cut fairly wide around it to prevent the laminate cutting into the cable. But the hole itself was still open and was basically a black hole for dust, dust and more dust.

Then the sealant-gun came by and glued the whole hole shut!
