Ever had the idea of writing a book? Well, I did — and not just once, but several times. In my mind, I’ve written countless chapters: long, elegant, and descriptive.
But whenever I tried to commit them to (digital) paper, I always ended up with chapters the size of — and you probably already guessed it — a blogpost… Yeah, story of my life. 😄
After a lot of procrastination, I finally decided to open a personal blog. A place where I can write down my ramblings, deep-dives into code that is too technical for my energy blog, and interesting gems I stumble upon at work.
I’ll also write about my personal journey getting here.
So, well… enjoy the show!
Music
I started with my personal music page. I’ve been making music for over 30 years now.
It began — rather cheesily — with recreating tracks like Axel-F, and even earlier, by modifying MSX BASIC SOUND commands to squeeze noise out of my MSX.
Eventually, I moved on to FastTracker 2 and Impulse Tracker at the height of the BBS scene / MS-DOS era. These days, I’ve switched to Renoise as my DAW of choice.
More of my ramblings soon!
Signing off,
Brain
